Medi-Dart Conversion Kit for extension pole #6 needle (MDAKEWN)

An extension pole syringe that has been in the medicine cabinet for a decade will usually still hold pressure and still empty a barrel. What it will not have is the current front end. This kit brings the pole syringe up to the #6 needle, which is the roughest ridge Medi-Dart makes and the one designed around the newer ejection arrangement. The kit pairs the #6 needle with the new plastic wingnut. The wingnut and the needle work together with the push rod to lift the needle out of the animal once the barrel is empty, which is the whole point of the redesign and the reason the parts are sold together rather than separately. Confirm the push rod on your syringe before ordering. The #6 is meant to be run with the half-moon push rod, so if yours is still the plain rod you will want to add that part to bring the assembly up to spec. Getting that wrong is the most common reason a converted syringe does not eject cleanly. This kit is for the extension pole system. Crossbow owners have their own conversion kit, which comes with both needle grades and both wingnut sizes. Everything here is reusable hardware rather than a consumable.
