Medi-Dart crossbow bow (MDCBB)
Replacement bow limb assembly for the Medi-Dart crossbow, the part that stores and releases the energy driving the dart.
Details
The bow is where the shot comes from. Everything else on the crossbow aims it, holds it or releases it, but the limbs are what store the energy and put the dart on its way, and a bow that has cracked, taken a set or been dry-fired is not something to persist with. This is the replacement bow for the Medi-Dart crossbow, sold separately from the stock and the string. Damage tends to come from the same handful of causes: a fall onto frozen ground out of a truck box, a limb caught in a gate, or a release with no dart on the rest. If your shots have started dropping or grouping wide and the string, rest and spacers all check out, the bow itself is the next place to look. Fitment is to the Medi-Dart crossbow only. The projectile system uses a recurve bow and is a different piece of equipment entirely, and nothing here has any bearing on the extension pole syringe. Order against the system you own rather than the one the parts diagram happens to show. Replace the string at the same time if it has any age on it, since a new bow on a tired string is half a repair. This is durable equipment rather than a consumable. Once it is back together, shoot at a target and confirm the point of impact before going near cattle, and leave the treatment decisions to your veterinarian and the product label.
