Details
A thick balm built around lanolin, with aloe vera and vitamins A, D and E. Fiebing's describes it as helping provide a barrier between skin and the effects of weather extremes — low humidity, hot or cold temperatures, and wind. It started as a dairy product for udders and teats, and a great many people ended up using it on their own hands. The 113g tin is the personal size. It fits a chore coat pocket or the console of a truck, which is where it does the most good. A coat pocket in January covers the exact conditions the balm is made for. It goes on thick and stays put. A small amount rubbed in properly beats a heavy layer that transfers onto everything you touch for the next hour. Work it in and give it a minute before you pick up a rope. Keep the lid on, and keep it out of a hot cab in July where it softens right down. This is a skin barrier product and nothing more. Anything that looks like a genuine problem on an animal is a conversation with your vet.
