4-Way Care is a thin liquid that does cleaning and conditioning in one pass. It carries leather soaps to float dirt out of the grain, plus oils and waxes that stay behind on the fibres. The 946ml jug comes with a trigger sprayer, which is the easy way to cover a saddle skirt or a truck seat without soaking a rag every thirty seconds. Shake it well first. Apply a thin coat with a clean cloth or sponge, work in circles, let it sit a minute to penetrate, then buff dry. A second coat is fine if the leather drinks the first one. Test a hidden spot before you start, because on light-coloured leather it can darken things and how much depends entirely on the hide. It is meant for smooth leather only, so keep it off suede and roughout. One thing worth knowing in Alberta: Fiebing's states this product will not work properly once it has frozen. If the jug has been sitting in an unheated shop over winter, bring it inside, let it come up to room temperature, and shake it hard before use.
