Fiebing's blue frost whitening shampoo and conditioner 473ml
Concentrated whitening shampoo and conditioner with aloe, used on white and light coats, manes and tails at bath time.
Details
A concentrated brightening shampoo aimed at white socks, blazes, grey coats and light manes and tails — the parts of a horse that show every stall stain and grass mark. Fiebing's states it contains brightening agents that work on urine and grass staining, plus aloe to condition the hair and skin during grooming. It is concentrated, so a small amount goes further than you would expect. Wet the coat right down to the skin, work the shampoo into a lather in the stained areas, and rinse completely. Rinsing matters: shampoo left in a thick tail or under a long winter coat dries down sticky and pulls dirt straight back in. How white a horse comes out depends on the horse, how long the stain has been sitting and what your water is like. Old set-in marks usually need a second go rather than a longer soak. In western Canada the limit is normally the weather rather than the product — on a cool, windy day, get the horse rinsed, scraped and moving, and save the full job for a warm afternoon with enough daylight left to dry properly.
