Fiebing's instant boot shine (brown)

Details
The brown version of Fiebing's wipe-on shine sponge. It shines and puts some colour back into scuffs and rub marks at the same time, which is what most brown boots need after a season. The toe and the outside of the heel go pale long before the rest of the boot is anywhere near worn out. Brown leather runs the whole range from light tan to near-black chocolate, and this is one shade of it. It will not match every boot. Wipe a small patch on the inside of the heel counter and look at it in daylight before you go over the whole thing, because a shine that reads too dark on a light tan boot is not coming back off. Knock the loose dirt off first. Then wipe, and that is the entire job — no applicator, no buffing brush, nothing to put away. Smooth leather only; suede and nubuck are out. Keep it capped between uses, and keep it out of a truck box that bakes in the sun all summer.
