Fiebing's horse salon shampoo and conditioner 946ml
Concentrated shampoo and conditioner in one, containing aloe, for washing a horse and leaving the coat easy to brush out.
Details
A rich, concentrated shampoo with the conditioner built in. Fiebing's states it contains two coat conditioners plus aloe, cleanses gently, and leaves the hair soft and manageable for brushing, banding or braiding afterwards. Because it is concentrated, start with less than a whole-horse bath seems to call for. Wet the coat right down to the skin first — water sitting on top of a thick coat is the reason people end up using three times the shampoo they need. Work it in section by section, then rinse until the water runs clear. Residue left in a mane, a tail or under the elbows dries stiff and dulls the very shine you were after. In this part of the country, bath weather is a short list of days. Pick a warm, still afternoon, get the horse scraped down and walking, and let the sun and wind finish the job. A bath late in the day in September with a horse standing wet in a breeze is a poor trade for a clean coat. The 946ml jug is a season's worth for most people.
