A liquid joint supplement built on hyaluronic acid with curcumin from turmeric added, in a 1 L jug. Hyaluronic acid is a normal component of joint fluid and cartilage; curcumin is included for its role in the inflammatory pathway. Together they target the two things people are usually trying to address in a working or aging horse — joint comfort and the inflammation that goes with wear. Feed it at the label rate as a daily addition. Joint supplements are a long game, not a quick fix. Nobody should expect a difference in a week; if it is going to help a particular horse you will notice it over a month or two of consistent feeding, and if there is no change after a fair trial there is no point continuing. Be realistic about what nutrition can do. A supplement supports a joint; it does not repair a torn structure, resolve bone change or replace diagnosis. A horse that is lame, that has a hot swollen joint, or that has dropped off in performance needs a veterinary lameness exam — and treatments like joint injections, medication or a change in workload may be the actual answer. Feeding a supplement while a real problem progresses is the expensive way to lose time. Also note that curcumin has poor oral absorption on its own, which is why formulation matters and why results vary between products and between horses. Store closed, cool, out of sunlight and above freezing. Shake before measuring.
