An oral solution fed to horses as respiratory support, in a 1 L jug. Horses live with a lot of airborne insult — dust off dry ground and arena footing, mould spores out of hay, ammonia in a barn that does not move air, and in recent prairie summers weeks of wildfire smoke. This is a supplement aimed at horses under that kind of load, particularly ones in work where breathing is being asked for. Dose it into feed at the label rate. Like most nutritional support, it is something you run through a period of exposure rather than give once and expect a result. The part worth saying plainly: no supplement substitutes for fixing the air. Soaking or steaming hay, feeding at ground level rather than from a high rack, getting a horse out of a closed barn and into moving air, and bedding on something that is not dusty will do more for a coughing horse than anything in a jug. Use this alongside those changes. And a horse that coughs persistently, breathes hard at rest, has nasal discharge, or loses performance for no obvious reason needs a veterinary diagnosis. Equine asthma, infection and other real disease all look alike from the outside and none of them are managed with a supplement. Get the diagnosis, then ask your vet whether this fits the plan. Keep the jug closed, out of the sun, and away from freezing. Shake before measuring.
