Doktor Doom human mosquito spray 30% deet 284g

Details

Thirty percent DEET is the concentration that matters when you are out in real mosquito country — a bush line, a slough edge, an evening of chores in June — rather than sitting on a deck in town. DEET remains the most thoroughly studied and reliable repellent available, and Health Canada permits up to 30% for adults, so this is the top of the range for a general-use product. Concentration determines how long protection lasts, not how strong the repellency is. A 30% product gives you several hours per application where a 10% product gives you a fraction of that. If you are outside all evening, that difference is the whole point. Apply it to exposed skin and to clothing as the label directs. Do not put it under clothing, do not apply it to cuts or irritated skin, and keep it out of eyes and off lips. Wash it off when you come inside — there is no reason to sleep in it. Age restrictions matter and are on the label. Health Canada sets different maximum concentrations and application frequencies for young children, and a 30% product is generally intended for adults and older children. Read the label before using it on a child rather than guessing. DEET damages plastics, and people learn this by ruining things: watch crystals, sunglasses, phone cases, fishing line, rain gear coatings and vehicle interiors. Keep it off gear you care about and wash your hands before handling it. Store it away from heat and flame, out of the sun, and out of reach of children. Do not spray it in an enclosed space.
