Corners are where a temporary fence gets tested. Every change of direction pulls the conductor sideways against the post, and a plain line clip will let it slide down, chafe or arc off to steel. This insulator is made for those positions, and it fits both plastic and metal mobile posts. That matters when you are cross-fencing pasture. You set a line of plastic posts, hit a slough or a fence corner, and suddenly need a different fitting than the one in your pocket. Carrying one insulator that covers both the straight run and the turn keeps the job moving and keeps the parts bin simple. Fitting is done at the post, so a paddock can be laid out and pulled again without a truck full of hardware.
