TopLine Plus is the heavier end of the CORRAL tape range: 40 mm wide, which is just over an inch and a half, on a 200 m roll that works out to roughly 656 feet. Ten TriCond conductors give a resistance of 0.187 ohm per metre, and Kerbl rates it for fence runs up to 10 km, about six miles. That conductivity figure is the number that matters on a big place. A cheap tape with two or three thin strands loses voltage over distance, and by the time you are half a mile from the energizer the fence is a suggestion rather than a deterrent. Ten conductors keep the pulse alive out at the far corner. Breaking strain is rated at 230 kg, about 507 pounds. Brown reads as a quieter colour along a treed line or a yard fence where white tape looks industrial, and it still shows up well against snow. Run it on insulators sized for 40 mm tape, and leave a tensioner in each long stretch. A wire fence does not stay tight, and tape is no different when it goes from minus thirty to plus thirty.
