Everything you need for a job is in three different places, so you make three trips. A divided caddy solves that in the simplest way available: brushes in one compartment, hoof pick and spray in the next, rags and a tin in the third, and the whole lot goes out and comes back together. It is a square moulded plastic tote with three compartments and a handle with finger grooves formed into it, so it stays comfortable in the hand when it is loaded and does not dig in on a long walk down the alley. Red makes it the obvious one on a shelf, and it is a reasonable choice for the caddy that is not the grooming box: the shop caddy, the fencing caddy, the one that lives behind the seat of the truck. Tip it out and rinse it every so often, because the corners of a divided tote collect a surprising amount of hair and grit.
