Weight is the argument for a small bucket. Five quarts of feed is something anyone can carry: a child doing chores, someone favouring a bad shoulder, or you at the end of a long day already carrying a bale. About 4.7 L, and it is comfortable rather than a haul. It is a round moulded body with the handle formed into the rim, made from recycled low-density polyethylene. No fasteners, no metal, and nothing on it that will not come through an Alberta January outside. Yellow is easy to see, which matters more for small buckets than for big ones. They are the ones that get set down behind a bale and found three days later with something curdling in the bottom. Turn it upside down when it is empty and it stays clean and dry between uses.
