Tuff Stuff's round bucket is moulded from flexible rubber-style polymer rather than rigid plastic, which is what lets it survive an Alberta winter. Rigid pails go brittle below freezing and crack the first time they're dropped or kicked; this one flexes and returns to shape, so frozen water can be knocked out without destroying the bucket. The 8-quart size is the common all-purpose barn pail — feed, water, soaking, mixing, and general hauling. The rounded interior has no sharp corners, so it rinses clean and doesn't trap feed in the seams. A moulded rim gives it enough rigidity to hold its shape when full, and the reinforced handle mount is the part that usually fails on cheap pails. Blue.
