Carts do not usually die. Their wheels do. A pneumatic tire that has spent five winters outside eventually cracks at the sidewall or gives up on holding air, and at that point you are either replacing a wheel or replacing a cart. This is the wheel. It is the 25 by 10 cm (10 by 4 inch) pneumatic wheel fitted to the TH300 muck cart, which is rated to 136 kg (300 lb). Inflate it to about 207 kPa (30 psi). Running one soft is the usual reason a wheel fails early, because the sidewall flexes where it was never meant to. Worth keeping one on the shelf if the cart earns its keep. Changing a wheel takes minutes. Finding one in February takes rather longer. And check both wheels at the same time while you are at it, since a cart running one hard tire and one soft pulls to the side and wears out the good one for company.
