Chicks drink very little and foul water very quickly. A large drinker in a brooder is the wrong tool for that job: heavy to lift out, slow to empty, and by the time it needs refilling the water has been sitting two days. Small and often is the better pattern with young birds. This is the smallest of the flat-top drinkers at 2.5 L (2.6 quarts). It comes up one-handed when full, which is what makes twice-daily changes something that actually happens rather than something you keep meaning to do. Construction is the same as the rest of the line: recycled low-density polyethylene, and a flat top so it fills upright rather than being turned over and refilled by guesswork. Raise it slightly off the litter if you can manage it, and give the trough a wipe rather than a rinse once it starts to feel slippery. A quick wipe removes the film. Water alone just moves it around.
