Getting the last of a bag out is where most scoops let you down. A deep narrow one will not reach into the corner of a sack, and a shallow one comes back half full. The open round bowl on this one pushes into the awkward part of a bag or a bin and lifts a proper measure in a single motion. The grip runs in line with the bowl, which keeps your wrist straight when the scoop is loaded. That matters more than it sounds when you are doing thirty pens in the morning and every one of them wants two scoops. Red is worth reserving for something specific rather than using as the general scoop. Plenty of operations use it for the mineral or the supplement, the thing that should never end up in the wrong pail. Whatever you assign it, keep it in that one bin.
