Every feed room ends up with a cut-off jug doing scoop duty. It works until the handle tears or the edge splits, and in the meantime it holds an amount nobody can name. A moulded scoop is a small purchase that quietly fixes a daily annoyance. This is the round open pattern. The front is open rather than walled in, so it fills as you push it forward through the bin and empties cleanly without needing a shake. Handle and body are one piece, so there is no join to work loose. It suits pellets, whole grain, crumble and kibble equally well. Blue is worth reserving for one bin and one product. Beyond that, the only real maintenance is a rinse when it has been in something sticky and a firm rule against using it to chip ice out of a trough, which is what actually breaks scoops.
