Equipment walks. In a yard where three people are doing chores, a tub with no distinguishing feature ends up on the far side of the property by Thursday. A bright yellow one is visible at forty paces and easy to describe over the phone, which sounds trivial until you have spent ten minutes looking for a bucket. Underneath the colour it is the standard 70-quart body: about 66 L or 17.5 gallons, roughly 53 cm across the top and 41 cm deep (21 by 16 inches), moulded in one piece from 100% recycled low-density polyethylene with a handle formed into each side. Yellow also shows the contents clearly, which helps when you are checking whether a tub has actually been rinsed before it goes back into service. Keep it out of long sun when it is not working, since UV is what ages poly faster than anything, and turn it over so it does not collect rain.
