There is a point in the season when the same tub gets used for pulled weeds in the morning, feed at noon and manure at night. A tub that busy needs to rinse clean and dry fast, which is most of the argument for smooth-walled polyethylene over anything woven or ribbed. Capacity is 66 L (70 quarts, 17.5 US gallons). The opening measures about 53 cm (21 in) and the wall is roughly 41 cm (16 in) deep, so it sits low enough to tip and drag but tall enough that a shovelful does not bounce back out.
