Stall cleaning is wearing work for a container. It gets overfilled, dragged across concrete, dropped off the back of a trailer and then left out in the cold, and thin plastic gives up at the handles first. This one is moulded from 100% recycled low-density polyethylene, a material that stays flexible instead of going brittle at minus thirty with a full load in it. It holds 70 quarts, about 66 L or 17.5 gallons, in a body measuring roughly 53 cm across the top by 41 cm deep (21 by 16 inches). Two handles are moulded into the sides so two people can carry it loaded, and the flare of the walls means it tips out cleanly rather than holding half the load in the bottom. Black is what most people default to for manure and it hides staining better than anything else. It does a fair amount besides mucking, too: hauling shavings, soaking a hoof, carrying tools out to a fence job. Store it upside down so it does not fill with rain and freeze into a solid block over winter.
