Tuff Stuff milk bottle screw type w/ handle 2qts
A two-quart screw-neck milk bottle with a moulded handle, sized for calf and lamb feeding without wrestling a bare bottle.
Details
Feeding a hungry calf is a two-handed job right up until it is not. A bare bottle gets slippery once milk and saliva are on it, and a calf that butts hard will knock it clean out of your grip. The moulded handle on this one gives you something to hold that does not depend on how wet your gloves are. It holds 1.9 L (2 quarts) and uses a screw neck, so the cap and teat thread on rather than pushing in. That matters when a strong feeder starts pulling, because a threaded teat stays where you put it. Spare screw teats are sold separately, which is worth knowing before the first one splits on you. Rinse it while the milk is still warm rather than letting it set. Warm water and a bottle brush, then upside down on a rail to drain. Check the teat opening each time you fill; they wear from the inside, and you will usually feel a soft spot before you can see a tear.
