Tuff Stuff HD square basket fork - red
A red basket fork with tightly spaced tines, for stalls bedded in sawdust or pellets where a coarse fork is useless.
Details
Red is the fork you can find. Set one down in a run-in shed or lean it against a fence in a snowfall, and a bright handle is the difference between picking it up and buying another one in spring. The basket head is what you're really buying. Closely set tines curved into a basket hold fine material — sawdust, fine shavings, broken-down pellets, small manure — that a wide-tined barn fork simply drops. If you've been fighting your bedding with the wrong fork, this fixes it in one chore. The head is about sixteen and a half inches wide and ten deep, and the fork runs around fifty-four inches, so it holds more per lift than the square barn fork. Expect the loads to feel heavier for that reason. Standard plastic-fork rules apply. It lifts, it doesn't pry. Frozen packs, gravel and anything you have to lever out are steel-fork work. Store it hanging, out of the sun and weather, and the tines keep their shape.
