Tuff Stuff HD feed dish 7gal
A heavy-duty seven-gallon feed dish, about twenty-two inches across and six inches deep, moulded from recycled plastic.
Details
Twenty-two inches across and only six deep — the proportions are what make this dish useful. It's wide enough that two or three animals can get their heads in without a fight, and shallow enough that a horse or a calf isn't reaching down into a bucket to get at the bottom of a ration. Shallow also means nothing gets left in the corners. Seven gallons is a real capacity. It holds a full ration for a couple of horses, a soak of beet pulp, a batch of mixed minerals, or a good pile of chopped feed. Away from the feed alley it does duty as a wash tub, a hoof-soaking bucket, a mixing bowl for concrete patch, or a planter. It's moulded from recycled plastic in one piece, so there's no seam to leak and no metal to rust. It'll take being stepped on and kicked around a pen. In winter a wide shallow dish is easier to clear than a deep one — tip it, the ice slab comes out, and you're back in business without a hammer.
