Tuff Stuff galvanized poultry feeder w/ handle - 33lbs
A thirty-three pound galvanized hanging feeder with a handle, for flocks big enough that daily filling gets old.
Details
At thirty-three pounds you're into serious flock territory — meat birds, a laying flock of any size, or anyone who'd rather fill a feeder twice a week than every morning. That's the trade: more capacity, fewer trips, but a feeder that is genuinely heavy when it's full. Which is where the handle matters. Fill it at the bin, carry it out, hook it up. It also gives you something to grab when you lift it down to sweep underneath or adjust the height. Galvanized steel takes the weight without flexing, and unlike plastic it doesn't go brittle in a cold building or give mice anything to work on. One practical note on the bigger feeders: don't fill them right to the top in humid weather or through spring thaw. Feed at the bottom of a big load sits the longest, and damp feed cakes and bridges over the opening so the birds stop getting any. Keep the fill moderate, and hang it at the birds' back height so they eat rather than shovel.
