Orange is a practical choice, not a decorative one. A tub that lives outside gets pushed around by stock, drifted over, and left in the grass after chores. Orange is the colour that still catches your eye across a corral in January, and it is the one that doesn't end up run over by the tractor. Underneath the colour it's the same flexible pan as the rest of the line — no seams, no fasteners, no rust. Sidewalls that flex are what let it survive winter: ice that would split a rigid pail just breaks free when you tip the tub and step on the edge. Cold doesn't make it brittle and sun doesn't chalk it out. Around here it gets used for soaking feed, carrying tools, watering a sick pen, mixing warm water for a wash job, and hauling barn junk to the burn pile. Get the orange one if it is going to live outdoors.
