Tuff Stuff flat back pail 20 qts (Red)
Red twenty-quart flat back pail, a five-gallon hanging bucket that sits flat against a wall for stall water or bulk feed.
Details
The standard big flat back. Twenty quarts of capacity, fifteen inches across the top, flat on one side so it hangs tight rather than swinging on its hanger. For a horse that drinks hard this is the bucket that gets you through the night without a second trip. It also earns its keep off the wall, soaking cubes or beet pulp, hauling water to a pen with no line run to it, or carrying grain out to a bunk. The wide mouth makes filling and cleaning straightforward, and it stands solidly on rough ground. Red is the colour that has hung in barns forever. It shows against straw, snow and mud, it does not fade into a shadow, and it is easy to pick out when several buckets are hanging in a row. If it is going outside through winter, work out where you can dump it before you hang it. Emptying a five-gallon block of ice is not a job you want to do twice.
