Tuff Stuff flat back pail 20 qts (Forest green)
Forest green twenty-quart flat back pail, a five-gallon hanging bucket for stall water, feed or general barn and yard work.
Details
Twenty quarts is the size you hang for an animal that empties a two-gallon bucket by midnight. It is also the general-purpose pail that ends up doing half the jobs on a place: soaking, hauling, mixing and carrying. The flat back is the reason to choose this over a round pail. Five gallons of water is heavy, and heavy things that swing on a hanger come off the wall. A flat side sits tight and stays there. It also means nothing can get in behind the bucket, which is worth thinking about in a stall. Forest green is the quiet option. It does not stand out in a barn aisle, it hides staining and water marks better than a light colour, and it will still look presentable after a couple of seasons. It is the wrong choice for a bucket that lives out in a snowy pen, where you want something bright, but for anything under a roof it wears very well.
