Tuff Stuff's calf feeder holds 8 quarts and measures roughly 11 inches across by 8 inches deep. It comes with a nipple and an over-the-fence bracket, so it hangs on a panel or gate rail at the right height and the calf feeds itself while you get on with the rest of the pen. Anyone who has bottle-fed a calf knows what that saves. A bottle means standing there for the whole feed, one calf at a time, in whatever the weather happens to be doing. A hanging feeder means you fill it, hang it, and move on, and it lets a bought or grafted calf nurse at its own pace instead of being rushed. Hung on the outside of the fence, the bucket stays out of the bedding and comes off easily for washing. Wash it after every feed - milk residue in a warm feeder is how calves get scours. Replacement teats and adapter valves are available separately, which is worth knowing before calving rather than during.
