A polish bottle empties fastest in the weeks before a show, which is exactly when nobody wants to drive to town for another one. The gallon takes that trip off the list. Magic Sheen is silicone-based and produces an oil-free shine that holds for several days. Unlike some silicone polishes it is made not to dry the hair out, so it can be used regularly rather than saved for show day. Worked through a mane and tail it cuts tangles and the hair loss that comes with combing them out. Refill a trigger sprayer from the jug and use it as normal: onto a clean coat, then brush in the direction of hair growth. Wet coat for maximum shine, dry coat for conditioning. It is not rinsed out. Avoid the saddle and girth area. One application is said to repel dirt and stains for about a week, so a gallon goes further than the size alone suggests.
