Buying grooming products one quart at a time gets expensive when you are not yet sure which ones you will actually reach for. This kit answers that by putting four staples in small bottles alongside the tool that goes with them. Inside are eight-ounce bottles of Hi Shine Shampoo, Easy-Out No Rinse Shampoo, Magic Sheen hair polish and Original M-T-G, plus a Mane-Tail Pick. Between them they cover a proper wash, a waterless clean-up, a finishing polish and a mane and tail dressing. It works as a starter kit for a first horse, as a show or trailer box that does not eat much room, and as a gift for someone who already grooms and would rather try four things than guess at one. Read the M-T-G label before using that bottle, since it carries its own directions and cautions. The small bottles refill easily from full-size containers once you know which ones earn their keep.
