Hi Shine is a clarifying shampoo: heavy lather, easy rinse, and no residue left sitting on the hair to dull the coat between washes. It is the shampoo recommended for taking Original M-T-G out of a mane or tail, and the maker describes it as mild enough for everyday use. At this size, diluting is the sensible approach. A capful or two in a bucket of warm water, applied with a sponge, cleans a horse without pouring shampoo straight onto the coat. Rinse until the water runs clear. Keep the jug somewhere above freezing and decant into a smaller bottle for the wash rack.
