Most shampoos leave something behind. After a few washes the coat starts to look flat and feel slightly waxy, and no amount of brushing brings it back, because the problem is residue rather than dirt. Hi Shine is built as a clarifying shampoo. It produces a thick lather that rinses out easily and leaves no film on the hair, which is also why it is the one the maker points to for washing Original M-T-G back out of a mane or tail. It is described as mild enough for daily use. Apply it straight to a wet coat, or dilute it in a bucket of water and work it on with a sponge if you want to stretch the bottle further. Rinse thoroughly and let the hair dry before you polish or oil. This is the small bottle. It suits a trailer kit, a show box, or a first try before moving up to the quart or the gallon.
