Plastic posts fail in one of two ways. The step snaps off when you put a boot on it, or the whole post shatters when you try to drive it into frozen ground in October. Both happen at the worst time of year. The Titan Plus is moulded from high-grade impact-resistant plastic and is vertically reinforced through its length, which is what keeps it standing under a lean rather than bowing. It stays workable at sub-zero temperatures instead of going brittle. The ground spike is galvanized steel and the step is metal-reinforced, so the load of a boot goes into steel rather than into the plastic moulding. 110 cm overall, five to the pack, in blue. It takes tape, polywire, rope or plain wire at the moulded positions, so a temporary line can be strung at whatever height the stock in front of it needs. Push it in with steady weight on the step rather than kicking it. If the ground is hard enough that the post will not go, a pilot hole from a bar is faster and cheaper than a broken post, and a blue post is easy to find again in long grass when it is time to pull the line.
