CORRAL Super Reel
A twin-spool fence reel that pays out or winds two lines at once, with a locking pin so it cannot free-spool on the way back.
Details
Winding a paddock in with a single reel means two trips, and the second line always ends up a different tension than the first. A double reel takes both strands at once and keeps them even. The Super Reel carries two spools on one frame, each with its own guide eye so the braid feeds where you want it rather than piling against the flange. The body is impact-proof plastic and the spools are replaceable, which is the part that eventually goes when a reel gets dropped off a quad in the cold. A locking pin stops the reel turning when you do not want it to. That is the difference between setting the reel down mid-run and having eighty metres of braid on the ground. Wind under light tension and keep the lay even across the spool. Braid that has been reeled in loose and left wet all winter comes off the following spring in a bird nest. If you are moving fence daily, a spare spool loaded and ready is faster than unwinding one job to start the next.
