Resistance is what kills a long electric fence. A budget polywire at a third of an ohm per metre will bleed most of your energizer output before the far corner ever feels it. PlatinumLine runs at 0.06 ohms per metre, which is the reason it goes on the runs that matter, the back quarter and the fence line that crosses a mile of grass. This pack is two separate 300 m rolls rather than one long one, roughly 984 ft each. That suits how the wire actually gets used. One roll goes on the reel for the paddock you are fencing now, one stays boxed for the next job or the repair. The 3 mm diameter, about an eighth of an inch, gives the line enough body to see and enough weight that it does not whip in a chinook. White and blue shows up against snow and against summer grass, which is the honest test in this country. Terminate it with proper connectors rather than knots, because knots are where conductivity gets lost.
