CORRAL one-hand drop aid
Plastic unwinding aid that lets one person roll out polywire, rope or tape from a reel and set it as they walk.
Details
Rolling out a new fence line on your own is the part everybody underestimates. The reel wants to spin faster than you walk, the wire twists back on itself, and you end up with a bird nest halfway down the run. This aid holds the reel while you unwind, so the conductor comes off straight instead of kinking. It hooks into the insulators as you go, which means you can unwind and feed the line into place in one pass rather than walking the run twice. Strand, rope and tape all work through it. It takes reels up to 250 mm tall, roughly ten inches, or about 3 kg, so it covers the common sizes rather than one model only. For an acreage owner or anyone strip grazing without a second set of hands, that is the difference between a morning job and an afternoon of untangling. It is plastic, light enough to hang off the quad rack, and there is nothing on it to seize up in cold weather.
