CORRAL fence/earth connection cable 3m
A 3 m high-voltage lead, nearly 10 feet, for energizer installations that need more reach than a standard one-metre cable gives you.
Details
Three metres, close to ten feet. This is the lead for installations where a one-metre cable does not reach: an energizer mounted inside a shed with the fence line out past the wall, ground rods driven well away from the building, or a battery box set back from the post the fencer is on. The length solves a real problem, because the alternative people reach for is splicing two short cables together or substituting ordinary wire. Both are bad. A splice outdoors is a leak point, and household or automotive wire is not insulated for the several thousand volts an energizer produces. It will track current into whatever it touches and pull the fence down without ever looking broken. Where the extra length matters most is the ground side. Getting rods into soil that actually holds moisture often means putting them a good distance from where the energizer is mounted, and skimping on that run is why so many systems underperform. Dry August ground and frozen December ground both cripple a marginal earth. Give yourself the reach to put the rods where the ground is good.
