CORRAL euro reel
A hand reel for winding and paying out poly wire, tape or rope, the standard-size unit for portable and rotational fencing.
Details
A reel is what makes temporary fence practical. Without one you are coiling wire by hand, and hand-coiled wire comes out of the shed next spring as one large knot with a fence somewhere inside it. The Euro Reel is the standard-size hand reel in the CORRAL range for winding poly wire, tape or rope. The way to use it is to hang the reel on the end post of a run, walk the line out paying off the drum, and reverse the process to bring it in. Everything stays under a little tension the whole time, which is what keeps kinks out of the conductor. A kink in polywire is a broken conductor, and enough of them turn a live line into a decoration. For anyone strip grazing, bale grazing, or fencing off a slough that dried up this year and will not next year, a reel per line is the setup that works. Store them wound rather than loose. And label them. Three unlabelled reels in a shed all look the same until you are standing in a field discovering that one of them has two hundred feet on it and you needed eight hundred.
