Details
Routine work on healthy stock is a numbers game. If you are doing a hundred and fifty in a morning, the seconds spent screwing a needle on and off add up to real time, and a push-on tip removes that entirely. This is the 3 cc luer slip. The needle hub pushes onto a plain tapered tip and holds by friction, going on with a press and coming off with a pull, which is what makes it the preferred fitting when the job is fast and uncomplicated. For sick animals, thick product, or anything requiring real pressure behind the plunger, the luer lock version of the same syringe is the better choice. The barrel is polypropylene with moulded graduations that stay readable at small volumes, and dose volume accuracy meets the ISO standard. Ethylene oxide sterilised, tamper-evident sealed, one hundred to the box. Single use, then straight to a sharps container. Nothing here is serviceable. What you are administering, and at what volume, is a matter for your veterinarian and the product label.
