A 35 cc barrel holds enough for most large single doses in one fill, which is the main reason to own the size. The luer slip version is for situations where the product moves freely and you would rather not lose the time a threaded fitting costs on every needle change. Be honest about the trade-off before choosing it. A barrel this wide generates real pressure at the tip, and a friction fit is all that is holding the needle on. For thick product, cold product, or anything where a needle coming adrift would matter, the 35 cc luer lock is the safer specification. The body is polypropylene with moulded, easily read graduations, and dose volume accuracy is to the ISO standard. Ethylene oxide sterilised, tamper-evident sealed, fifty to a box. They are a consumable. One use, then the sharps container, since the plunger seal is not built to survive cleaning. What is being administered, and how much, remains a matter for your veterinarian and the product label.
