Small volumes are where a syringe gets judged. At 3 cc the difference between a correct measure and a sloppy one is a couple of millimetres of plunger travel, so the graduations have to be legible and the plunger has to move without lurching. This is the 3 cc size with a luer lock tip, a threaded collar that the needle hub screws into and locks against. On a small syringe that matters more than it sounds, because the whole thing is being worked one-handed while the other hand holds an animal, and a needle that twists off mid-push is a mess and a wasted measure. The barrel is polypropylene with moulded graduations sized to be read rather than squinted at, and dose volume accuracy is held to the ISO standard. Each one is ethylene oxide sterilised and comes in tamper-evident packaging, a hundred to the box. They are consumables. One animal, one syringe, then the sharps container, because the plunger seal is not built for repeated washing. Volume, product and technique are decisions for your veterinarian and the product label.
