Refilling mid-dose is where accuracy goes. You lose track of what has gone in, the animal has had time to think about it, and the second push is never as smooth as the first. A 35 cc barrel takes most large-volume jobs in one draw and one push. It is a luer lock fitting, which at this barrel diameter is not really optional in practice. A wide barrel multiplies the force at the tip, and a threaded needle connection is the only sensible way to handle that. The needle hub screws down into the collar and stays there. The body is polypropylene, moulded with graduations you can read across a pen, and dose volume accuracy is held to the ISO standard. Supplied ethylene oxide sterile in tamper-evident packaging, fifty per box. One use each, then the sharps container. There is nothing to service and no parts to keep on hand. Volume, product and route are decisions for your veterinarian, guided by the label.
