N.J. Phillips catheter tip syringe 60cc (25/box)
A 60 cc syringe with a plain tapered catheter tip instead of a luer fitting, for oral dosing and flushing where no needle is wanted.
Details
There is a whole category of yard jobs that are not injections. Flushing a wound, running fluid down a tube, dosing something by mouth, and a luer-tip syringe is the wrong shape for all of them. The tip is too fine, it will not seat in tubing, and half the volume ends up on your sleeve. This is a 60 cc polypropylene syringe with a catheter tip: a longer, gently tapered nozzle that pushes into tubing and holds by friction. There is no needle fitting on it at all, which is the entire point. The graduations are moulded prominently enough to read in a shed with the light behind you, and each syringe is ethylene oxide sterilised and sealed in tamper-evident packaging. They come 25 to the box, which reflects how they actually get used. Fewer at a time than an injection syringe, but always more than one, because the first is usually still full of something when the second job turns up. Treat them as single-use. They are a consumable line rather than anything to wash out and re-run, and the plunger seal will not survive many cycles of hot water regardless. What you put through one is between you and your veterinarian.
