N.J. Phillips black knob for repeaters
The standard black push-rod knob for the semi-automatic repeaters, sold on its own to replace one that has cracked or gone missing.
Details
The knob on the end of the push rod is the part your thumb lives on all day, and it is the part that goes missing. It cracks after enough cold mornings, or it works loose in a tote and turns up nowhere. The gun still functions without it, but pushing on bare threads with a thumb gets old within about ten head. This is the plain black replacement, the same one fitted as standard. It suits both the 25 mL and the 50 mL semi-automatic repeaters, since the push rod is common to both, so there is no need to match it to your barrel size. Fitting is a matter of unscrewing what is left of the old one and threading the new one on until it seats. No tools, no dismantling the rest of the gun, nothing to line up, and the dose adjuster is not disturbed. If you run more than one repeater and want to tell them apart at a glance, the same part is available as a four-pack in assorted colours. This one is the replacement for anybody who simply wants the gun back the way it came.
