Grooming brushes end up filthy and stay that way, because nobody wants to hand-wash something that will be muddy again by Tuesday. Brushes moulded entirely from plastic solve that, since they go through a wash cycle and come out clean, and a set of three means one can be out of action without stopping work. The set contains three brushes moulded from recycled polyethylene, flecked with white through the material, in the CornFlowers colourway. The bristles use the quadro structure the range is known for, four-way clusters that lift dirt out of the coat while giving a bit of massage rather than simply scraping. The reverse of each brush is shaped as a sweat scraper, so a single tool covers both ends of a workout. Three in a set is a hygiene arrangement as much as a quantity. Keeping one brush per horse, or separating a body brush from one used on legs and hooves, is far easier when there are three identical tools to hand. They handle blankets and saddle pads as well as coats, and the fine but sturdy bristles will take coarse dirt off a gaiter. When they need it, run them through the machine and let them air dry rather than putting them near heat.
