Bottle-feeding orphans one at a time is fine for two lambs and impossible for ten. A multi-teat bucket turns the job into a single fill and a hang, and it lets the lambs draw small amounts through the day rather than taking everything in one large feed. The bucket holds 8 L and carries five teats, set low on the side wall so the lambs draw from near the bottom rather than sucking air once the level drops. Each teat seats on its own valve passing through the wall. The plastic is a food-safe grade, translucent with a scale embossed into the side so the level reads from outside, and it resists cracking and UV. A metal carry handle doubles as the hanging point on a hurdle, gate or pen rail. Height is the thing to get right when you hang it. Set the teats at about the level of the muzzle of a standing lamb, low enough that the smallest in the pen can reach without stretching. Empty and wash it after every feed rather than topping it up, because milk residue in the teats and valves is where sour smells and refusals begin. Teats and valves are wearing parts and get replaced as a matter of course. Worth noting for anyone ordering spares: lamb bucket teats are a different fitting from the calf pail teat and valve, and the two do not swap over.
