A wheelbarrow tray fills up long before the load gets heavy, especially with bulky light material. Stripping a pen, raking leaves off a yard or moving loose hay turns into four trips when it should be one, and half of it blows back out on the way. Dropping a fabric bag into the tray fixes the volume problem without buying a bigger barrow. The bag measures 90 x 60 x 50 cm and holds 270 L. The fabric is a tear-resistant woven material in green, and there is a sturdy integrated handle, so the whole thing can be lifted out and carried or tipped rather than emptied a forkful at a time. It wipes or rinses clean, and it folds flat when the job is done instead of taking up a corner of the shop. Hay, straw, bedding, leaves and grass clippings are the obvious loads. It also works as a standalone tote for anything awkward, whether that is a run of fence posts out to the far paddock, tools going to a repair, or feed bags coming off a pallet. Shake it out after anything wet, and let it dry before folding, which is what keeps the fabric from going stiff over a winter in the shed.
