Poultry
Identification Bands
Leg bands can be used to tell hens apart in a mixed flock, to mark the year a bird was hatched, or to separate breeding groups by colour. Pipestone Farm Supply lists Tuff Stuff poultry rings in three sizes, small, medium and large, each a 100-pack of assorted colours. Check the ring size against your birds before you buy, and keep a written key of which colour means what. For ear tags and livestock identification, see the cattle ear tags page. Orders ship Canada-wide from Millet, Alberta, or pick up in store.
